Kenny has over 40 years of executive management experience in security, information technologies, healthcare and upstream oil and gas exploration. Kenny presently oversees all upstream energy projects for Pritchard Griffin.
In 2018, as Vice President of Exploration and Development for Empire Petroleum Corporation, successfully launched this publicly traded company and acquired 150 + wells in the Bakken, Williston and Gulf Coast Basins with a $50MM PDP value.
In 2012, as Vice President of Exploration and Development for Warhorse Oil & Gas, LLC. an independent energy company engaged in the acquisition, exploration and production of oil and natural gas reserves in Louisiana, drilled over 25 wells with a 90% success rate and has discovered over 3.3 million barrels of oil, 7.2 billion cubic feet of gas with a gross PDP value of $154MM, with an additional 7 million barrel equivalent PUD to PDP reserve capability and has managed an expenditure budget of over $90MM. He has managed and operated oil and gas production in St. Landry Parish, Pointe Coupee Parish, Beauregard Parish, Vermilion Parish, Acadia Parish, Jefferson Davis Parish, St Martin Parish, Louisiana and Newton County, Texas. He was instrumental in the drilling and construction of commercial saltwater injection wells in the Eagleford Shale in South Texas, the Permian Basin in West Texas and the Eaglebine Basin in Central Texas.
In 2010, as an independent geologist and owner of Savoil Exploration & Production, LLC., identified commercially successful discoveries in the onshore Mesozoic Gulf Coast Basin.
Kenny is a 1983 graduate of University of Louisiana, Lafayette with a B.S. degree in Geology, Pre-Med minor, with post graduate studies in environmental engineering. He is a certified petroleum geologists, DPA # 6137, Louisiana Board Certified Geologists and an industry member of AAPG, SIPES, and LGS. He is married to Sherry Beasley, has 2 children and resides in Lafayette and New Orleans, Louisiana.
