Billy Noel was the founding partner of Oakton Trinity Partners (OTP), an investment consulting firm focusing on energy, renewable energy, and other opportunistic projects. In his role at OTP, he was responsible for project origination, business strategy, product development and fund-raising activities.

Billy is a veteran of the capital markets industry with experience raising capital, assembling executive management teams, and structuring both private and public transactions. Billy founded Oakton Capital Partners (OCP) and has worked with companies in the energy, mining, technology, healthcare, and real estate industries in North America, Europe, the Middle East.

Prior to OCP, Billy was a Vice-President at Deutsche Bank / Alex. Brown (DBAB), where he focused primarily on the high net worth, family office and institutional client segments. While at DBAB, he was part of the corporate executive services group where he structured specific risk-mitigating strategies for his client’s equity exposure using derivatives and other hedging tools.

Billy left DBAB to join the Washington, DC-based US branch of the family office of the Al-Nahyan family, rulers of Abu Dhabi, UAE. Billy and his team took the national healthcare company from a private to a publicly listed company on the Abu Dhabi Stock Exchange, interfaced with domestic and international healthcare providers for Emirati VIP’s, and developed real estate owned by the family. 

Billy holds a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Auburn University. He was also registered with the National Futures Association and the Commodity Futures Trading Association and is currently registered representative with FINRA/SIPC. Billy is a long-time Washington DC resident and now lives in Oakton, VA with his family.
